Barbara Zawadzki
My name is Barbara.
I’ve been living in Sweden for years, but I still carry Poland within me – the places,
people and memories that shaped me.
I’ve always been most interested in people – their stories, choices,
emotions and what lies between the lines. I like to listen, observe and
take in those little moments, because that’s where
my stories most often come from.
I write in the evenings. Sometimes the inspiration comes from a journey, sometimes from a conversation, and
sometimes from a simple view out of the window. Then the characters appear and lead
me onwards.
